The Pauline year has now finished and the year from June 2009 is a year of devotion to St John Vianney the Cure d'Ars, near Lyons France.
A year during which the faithful are asked to pray for Parish Priests.
John Vianney was a simple but saintly Parish Priest.
A prayer card is appended below. The prayer on ithe reverse of the card is in French and will be replaced with a prayer in English when one comes to hand.

Your webmaster recalls staying for 3 nights at a convent in the Right Bank area of Paris. Rue de Bac, Rue de Sevres, Rue de Babylone.
The founding Rev. Mother had been a friend of John Vianney. In a corridor was a section of his blanket scorched in an encounter with the Devil.
